Interactive Family Violin Program

Violinist Yixuan Lai presented two interactive family programs at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, combining live violin performance, storytelling, movement, and creative audience participation.
Designed for young children and families, the program encouraged participants to experience music through listening, dancing, imagination, and physical response. Storytelling was incorporated into the musical experience to help children connect sound with characters, emotions, and movement.
The program created an energetic and welcoming environment in which families could engage directly with live classical music while developing curiosity, creativity, and musical awareness.
